Let me start by saying WOW, what a crazy start to our year! We have made it through birthday season. The kiddos cousin Liz has a birthday in January, Emma is February 10th, Jude is March 3rd, new cousin Genevieve was born on the 13th (I think), Daddy is the 19th, Jonathan is April 14th, and then cousins Noah and Gavin are in May!!! Like I said we have a crazy start to our year.
Next was the start to our Summer, we have bought a house in New Holland, it is requiring a lot of work but we are enjoying getting it just the way we want it. The kids have been tolerant going back and forth between our houses. We have our project house and our retreat house. What a blessing that we did not sell our house right away as we thought that we wanted. God always has a bigger plan than we can see. So our current house has not sold but we are still praying for God's perfect timing in the selling of our house, the move to the new house and getting the new house back together. There is currently no kitchen, but we are getting back together fairly quick!
In the midst of our working on the new house we got to take a week break to head to the Outer Banks. The kids and us all had an amazing time! We went with my family, Nana, Pappy, Uncle Rick, Aunt Tracey, Mom, Dad, Erin, Lauren, Adam, Hannah, Liz and Gavin, plus our family. We had a lot of fun going to the beach making pools in the sand, mountains and burying Uncle Adam. There was an enclosed pool in the back yard that the kids were having so much fun in. Jude was a crazy man jumping in the pool and loving it. He was such a clown we would shot him with the water canon type thing and he would fall/flop into the pool, no fear! Emma was a little more cautious but was jumping right in till the end of the week. Jonathan was enjoying the pool as well, he was not sure at first but really started having fun the second day, floating around the pool in his big float. They all loved the ocean after the 1st day, Jonathan would go down to the water and when the waves would come in he would start running away and when they went back out he would start stumbling backwards. It was so cute. I was so happy that they were enjoying themselves at the beach or the pool!
